About

ABOUT ME: I am a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to co-creating and fostering compassionate spaces for growth and healing. I'm not the type of therapist who will ask you to breathe through the oppression. I recognize the structures that contribute to our inequitable mental health outcomes, and I am here to accompany you while you navigate these structures with agency and achieve your goals. I'm also here to accompany you as a witness during life's most challenging times without pressure to "get better." ABOUT MY PRACTICE: My approach is informed by 15 years of clinical, advocacy, and research experience, as well as my own lived experiences. I specialize in providing affirming, evidence-based care in two core areas: 1. Queer-Affirming Care: Whether your gender and sexual orientation are what bring you to therapy or just pieces of the constellation that forms your identity, I provide care that fully affirms and celebrates you. 2. Grief and Loss: These universal experiences are often ignored, avoided, or invalidated. I provide a culturally-responsive and inclusive approach to grief, recognizing that we mourn not only the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship, but the loneliness of losing community, the collective trauma of attacks on immigrant and queer communities, or even the life you imagined for yourself. Whatever you're grieving, it's valid and deserves care and attention. EDUCATION: - Current PhD Candidate at the Boston College School of Social Work - Master of Social Work (MSW): University of California, Berkeley LICENSURE: - Licensed in both California (LCSW #100442) and Massachusetts (LICSW #126713) LET'S CHAT!
